After a successful presentation at the Centro Português de Fotografia, Porto, in 2023, the exhibition The Comedy Wildlife now arrives in Pombal, in the central region of the country, where it can be seen until December 31, 2024, in the Teatro-Cine de Pombal exhibition hall.

The exhibition is an initiative of the Municipality of Pombal, through the Unidade de Cultura, in partnership with the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards and Terra Esplêndida. The opening took place on September 20, and was attended by His Excellency the Mayor of Pombal, Dr. Pedro Pimpão, and a group of young students from the city.

The exhibition comprises 82 photographs selected from the winning images of the 2015–2022 editions of The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, the photography prize created by wildlife photographers Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks to draw attention to the importance of species preservation and environmental conservation through a unique tool: humor.
